This site gives musings on things that have caught my attention over the years.
The intention is often to have "simple" basic principles clarify "difficult" subjects.
The selection tends to be purely personal, and largely a matter of taste.
Also, some autobiographical material plays a role in these selections.
This site is really a personal blog. For easier reference, it is organized by subject, instead of chronologically.
Some parts are mere sketches of ideas, others are more elaborate, but all of them are works in progress.
This site contains a serious text on propeller theory, and there will be a similar text on haptics as well.
Please feel free to use any of this material, but do so at your own risk  :
- some of it is tested in practice, but none of it is peer reviewed.

build note
This site is my first attempt at a personal website.
Currently it is mostly scaffolding, but content will follow
Real Soon Now...
( as Byte magazine used to call such promises :-) ).
status
Some content is growing :
- "propeller book" : this is 90% finished. Viscous optimization ! Comments are invited.
- hand linkages, with an application in MRI.
- common fallacies, like the downwind turn, T-tails, canards, and trim drag .
- sails.
