This site is my first attempt at a personal website. Work started at the end of 2025.
It is definitely a work in progress. A few items of note so far are listed here.
This site contains an original textbook on propellers.
Intended as a simple introduction to the classical theory, it acquired a life of its own. It is now as solid an introduction into classical propeller theory as any, with even some small additions to the theory.
in particular, it contains a simple but accurate analytical viscous optimization, and an introduction to vortex theory as an accurate alternative to Prandtl's brilliant, but approximate tip loss function.

Some items that I "invented" ( for lack of a better word ) include a proximal control law that I designed for an astronomical satellite and which flew successfully on the ISO satellite from 1995 to 1996.
