It is a law of nature that when designers ( and scientists ) get older, they start writing and talking about "meta" issues, rather than about the technical designs and scientific theories that people expect them to solve.
So when I noticed that the feedback I gave to students became more and more about the methods to achieve something than on the somethings they wanted to achieve, I knew I was getting old.
It is in this spirit that this website offers some thoughts on methodology. You can ignore the whole subject if you are still young. In old age you will be sorry that you did, but then it will be too late.
For now, just enjoy the other parts of this site which discuss bona fide subjects in science and technology. But if you are a little worried, at least read the sections about inventors ( ugh ! ) and about the Toyota way ( wow ! ).
